Hi,
I just got my first group of 11 hens and 3 rooster Jan 15. I had no idea how easy it is to be a Obsessed with chicks! My best friend and I decided to get chicks. A few died.. we bought them a day after we had a blizzard kinda chaotic. But we have 24 chicks and we’re not sure exactly which breeds are which! Brown leghorns, Starlight Green Eggers, Sapphire Gems, and Prairie Bluebell is what they are supposed to be. I’m a young widow and nurse with kiddos we love Jesus & I am loving the chicken life!

We got a few more chicks and have about 80 now. Long story! I’ve also been building a chicken tractor coop this weekend! Fun fun!

My late husband’s friend helping me build the tractor coop! It’s an A frame. We may make a Joel Salatin style coop next.
