Yes, that was dressed weights. I don't take the time to measure live weights. The ones right behind them for this weekend are looking good as well. I am really hitting them hard with the feed this week. My pasture is awesome this Spring. Clover is over a foot tall and the grass hay is 2 feet. You can't even see the birds in the tractor from a distance it's so tall. At least something good has become from all this rain.

Enjoy this sunshine, doesn't get any better. Just got done planting 500 Broccoli plants, need a beer!

My poor broccoli plants are still sitting in their propagation trays waiting to hit the garden dirt. My garden is going to be really late this year. I already gave up on planting peas, and I fear my onions are going to suffer.

Our Freedom Rangers are three weeks old today and I put them out in the tractor for the first time this morning. They seem to be enjoying it after a little bit of hesitation. I sure hope this lovely weather continues in NE Ohio!!

WHAT A GREAT WEEK OF WEATHER! I am really liking the weather the past few days. Highs in the mid 70's, lows in the mid 50's, low humidity.....perfect weather for raisong pastured broilers. They all look so happy this week. They got themselves all cleaned up and have been laying in the sun during the afternoon enjoying the cool North breeze. Wish we has this weather year round. It's been perfect timing for one tractor, as they are all going to be 8 weeks old this week and hot weather would have lilkey killed them due to their weight.

And......finally got the last of the garden out.
