OHMYGOSH I just walked in on Hamlet (My roo) and Parndora (One of my SS hens) doing the unspeakable act and I was wondering how long until I should expect an egg? I'm not sure how long they've been squatting, but this is the first time they've let him do this.

I think my flock started laying little pullet eggs before they started cooperating with the roos

You already know that you do not need a rooster for your hens to lay an egg? Hens lay eggs with or without a rooster.
