I'm right above Plymouth !!!!! My plan is to let them out this winter as long as we can get out there and open it (if we get 5 feet maybe not that day) But we will have a light that turns on at 7am ish and shuts off at 7pm ish so they wont be in the dark all day, both my coops are good sized so they shouldnt have an issue staying in once and a while, My biggest thing will be to get hubby out there to shovel (im 6 1/2 months preggo and things are getting a little hard to do, LOL !!!! Stinks) But as long as we arent snowed in there door will be open.... I cant wait to see what they do when they see snow !!!!! You can get a red bulb at almost all hardware/feed stores for about $5-$7, will be getting some this week, those will be on all day/night (unless above freezing) Also I have 30 pound feeders in both coops so if we cant get out there first thing in the morning they will be ok !!!!!
