The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia!
a neighbor has too many pheasant eggs and has offered the extra to me....
(he by the way has 3 incubators full)
I have had good luck with my guinea, chicken and duck eggs that I have
incubated but have never incubated pheasant eggs.....

he uses an egg turner, I like to hand turn....things like this...

what temp do I need my bator?
what humidity during incubation? during lockdown?
how many times a day do I need to turn?
how long do they incubate?
basics....are they just like guinea eggs?? he says yes...

I am gratefull for and delighted to get the eggs but
don't believe everything he says....

so will someone set me straight...

ok.....are all pheasants eggs the same?

if so, is this right??
23 days incubation at 99.5 degrees
humidity at 45% and at hatch/lockdown increase to 65%....

????????????
new to pheasants...sorry for the dumb questions...

What type of pheasant eggs have you ?
The various species have different incubation times from 23 to 28 days.
45 sounds right and 65 for lockdown is what i use.

Yes the information is correct and you need to turn them at least 4 times a day. It's easier if you get the automatic turners then you don't have to worry about you physically turning them. Stop turning them 3 day before hatching and make sure you have them on papertowels or something they can get there footing on and not slide around.
Good Luck
