As I am comming close to the end of my first time incubation (day 20 today) I was wonderring if someone could give me a good time frame on a few things... (Sebastopol/Toulouse cross eggs)

#1 Which day do I stop turning?

#2 Which day (approx.) will internal pipping occur?

#3 How long should there be between internal and external pipping?

#4 Which day should they hatch on (approx. given normal incubation conditions have been achieved)

I have read and re read the sticky post over and over but I still dont have a firm grasp on which dates these things should occur. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! JEN

This is my first year incubating goose eggs, Sebastopol. i did three different hatchings. i stopped turning on Day 26. From my observations, internal pipping occurred between Day 28 and Day 30. External pipping occurred approximately 24 hours later, but in one instance it took a day longer. From external pipping to zipping was 24-48 hours. My first hatch came out the most quickly, i think the settings were good. But for the other two hatches i used new incubators and think the temps were too low, so those hatches were extended, with it taking up to Day 32 to hatch one gosling, and i had to help.

There are others here far more experienced than me who have done tons of hatching. Hope they check in and give you some input. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the info! Its a start to go on anyhow. I really appreciate it. I hope I dont mess this up! LOL
