Just for fun, anyone with any info on creating a Lemon Cuckoo Orpington? How do you do it?

That bird looks like a buff cuckoo to me but then people put different names on the same colored bird.
Cuckoo is sex link so you should have no problem creating it. Only problem would be you would have to have a cuckoo male or female and a buff of opposite sex to start. Then you will also get crele probably. I really don't know a lot about chicken genetics that much. You are talking about 3 years to create it if you are lucky. Nothing good is easy to come by especially when everyone mixes colors now a days. You will also get a lot of culls from this project to dispose of, hope you send them to the auction and not propetuate more culls. HS
