And i have a question about the space they will be running around in.. well.. when i let them go out to run around.. would i need to clean up after their messes on the ground..? If so.. how??

We just sweep the poo off the side walk and also off the outside furniture. It will get stepped on and tracked in the house if I dont. I neither worry nor notice any in the yard. They stay in the "chicken" yard most of the time. If I let them in the rest of the yard all the time its the plants that get torn up that bother me, not so much the poo.

I use a hose and blast the poop to the grass, where it disintegrates. You have to make sure the poop is fresh, though, or you might need a scrubbing brush too

Just let it go, the rain will take care of it. If it doesn't, they are in one place too long.
