Here are some of my hatch, I put pine stall pellets in the bottom of the brooder like the feed store does, it makes it so much easier to clean! Aren't they adorable!! I love to sit here and just turn on the flashlight to see my incubating eggs sitting on my desk next to the computer, and right beside that is my brooder....yes!

LOL. Thanks. It's just too easy to go out to the hen house and grab a few eggs to incubate......first thing hubby said to me when he saw that this hatch was almost done was " so how many you going to put in there tomorrow".

I REALLY want to buy some Mandarin Duck eggs to hatch since those are the coolest ducks I've ever seen, but they're soooo expensive and with my luck none would hatch (around $50 for 4 eggs).......ugh

Aww. Too true about that. I can't tell you how many times when I collect I think, "Ooooo I want to hatch that, how pretty!" And mandarin ducks, nice, I want some wood ducks!! I love the "slicked back" feathers on their head

That's Peepers, he's the only survivor from my hatch 2 weeks ago. He looked so little as I had him in with my juvenile Black copper marans I got last week, but moved them into the barn yesterday and kept peepers in here until he gets a bit older, he looks huge, but is very gentle to the babies.
