Ok, here we go..... newly obsessed !!!!!!

Hi everyone,
I have been reading on this website daily for almost 2 month now. My husband is already making fun of me and telling me I am obsessed and we don't even have chickens yet! But tomorrow is the big day and our baby chicks should be here. I ordered 15 chicks from Cackle (5 BR, 5 BA and 5 EE), shipping date is today and since it is not too far from here, same state, i would hope that I will get the call from the post office in the morning. The brooder, which DH built me, is all set up and warm and cozy and I can't wait to fill it up with my little baby's. The coop is planned and hopefully this weekend we can start building it.
I am a stay at home mom with two little boys (2 and 6 months), 2 dogs and since we live on 10 acres plenty of room to add more fury, feathery friends

After learning of all the different breeds (I had no idea that there are so many different kind of chickens) I am already planning what to add next year and dreaming of maybe a second coop for some bantams/silkies ........ I don't think my DH has a clue what he is getting into

Congrats on you new chickies. It will get very addicting because there are just so much unique breeds of chooks. That, sometimes, you want to have every type.!!!
