I have a 1502 with autowater bucket on top. The humidity is at 63% on day 3. I can not seem to get it to drop. Any suggestions. Incubating chicken eggs.

I wish I could help, I have no idea of what to do. I have never seen your incubator. Just bumping this along to see if someone else can help.
Can you drain some of the water out?

Are you using the sponge/wicking filter in the watering pan? If so, remove it?

If not, it could be that your humidity in your home is high and thus the increase in the bator. My Sportsman will hold a pretty constant RH so long as the room its in is not too humid.

You could also remove the regular watering pan and replace it with a smaller "tupperware type pan" which has less overall surface area. Your auto waterer might not work, but it should reduce your RH. You'll just need to add water to it "as needed"

That is what I was thinking of doing. The bator is outside on the porch so that may have something to do with it as well. I do not have the sponges in the water pan.

Tks for the help.

I partially covered my tupperware type pan in my 1202 with foil...decrease the water surface area exposed to the fan and you will drop the humidity.

I also cover about a third of the pan with foil to keep humidity at the right levels in my 1502.
