OK I know now that I didn't do right.

I have a staggered hatch coming 3 days apart. I am turning by hand.
Do I NOT open up and turn the 2nd set of eggs after the 18th day of the first ones OR if I do it quickly will it be OK?

Most people will tell you NOT to open up your bator again, but if you absolutely feel the need, just try to do it as quickly as possible. How many eggs will you be turning?

We have a homemade incubator and we cut a small square in the side so we could open that up to turn instead of opening up the whole top. Doesnt change the humidity at all.

The 2nd set is 7 eggs.

When you reach in to turn just throw in a small sponge that has hot water in it.
Not sure how the other hatches will do from having to up the Hum for the first batch ?

I have heard several times that there isn't really a need to turn after day 14. Your eggs will be fine, I'm sure.
