Ok so your reading this thread because you are a silkie addict like me! I would like to start another thread about silkies because the original one is really long!! i dont want to have to read 400 pages! I will start of my saying that is have 13 silkie eggs in the bator right now due the 28th of april!!! 1 more week! i have learnd so uch about them! When they hatch i will add some pictures to here! you are welcome to add your pictures of your little fuzz balls! Make sure you include there name, the color, and age! Everyone is welcomed! Add all the facts you can!

Our only silkie Buffy-she is currently sitting on 8 black/red sex link eggs due to hatch anytime now. She is the sweetest chicken ever!She is constantly broody..but when she is not she lays everyday. She lives and coops up with 6 other full size chickens. Really want some more silkies soon

Kasey08, i love your silkies!!!!!! they are so beautiful!! The 3rd picture, i think, may be a boy. if you look at the top of its head you can see the fuzz kind of like a roos

Silkies are very hard to sex. But you never know. The top of his/her head is its "top hat"
