There is a difference between Ameraucana and EE.

Ameraucanas lay only blue eggs.

EE's can lay, blue, white, brown. But usually green.

Ameraucanas should have slate colored feet.

EE's usually have green, but other colors are okay too.

Ameraucana only come in specific colors.

EE's can come in any color, can be bearded/non, tuffed, tail, no tail.

An EE is basicly any mix of an Ameraucana or an Araucana, with any other chicken breed. They may look just like an Ameraucana, and lay blue eggs. But if they do not have the correct coloring, or breed true then they are EE's.

Ameraucanas are an actual breed, and have standards. EE's are 'mutts' and can be anything an anything just about. There is no rules with them. Except that they have to come from a bird that lays colored eggs.

Your roo is an EE. A beauty too. Looks just like mine.

Your hens are EE's too.

True Ameraucanas are rare. Hatcheries advertise 'Ameraucanas' but they are truely selling EE's. Even the judge at the poultry show last month I went too had never heard of EE's. And called my EE's Ameraucanas.

I hope I helped. And someone can chime in too and add information to that.

Also if you search EE Ameraucana on this site there are quite a few links with more information on this matter.

But how do we know if mine are EE or Ameraucana?

One of my hens lay baby blue and the other lays a baby blue with tint of green.

Ok in the link they show a rooster that has the same piece of feathers on the head as my black roo, and every one thinks he is a 4 way mix.

And i found out that the breeder was creating an European Araucana?
