Put mine I on the 19th, had a real drop in humidity level. Have spent all day trying to fix it. I added entirely too much water to the bator, temp dropped, ugh! I think I have it regulated now but who knows. I had to open it to let the moistur out and turned the hair dryer on to boost the heat/dry out some moisture, worked better than I anticipated but I'll see in the morning if it maintained.

Well, I added entirely too much water to the bator and it shot up to 60%, that's why I had to open it up to release some moisture. Talk about a headache. Lesson learned, add small amounts at a time. I knew this but had just woke up, wasn't thinking clearly and panicked.

I set 6 eggs from my pair of Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons yesterday. My first attampt to hatch from this pair.

Set 21 yesterday morning. Having humidity and temp issues, temp not holding and humidity high, but outside humidity is 75+ so reduced water. May try that hairdryer idea- sounds like an option!
