Hi all,
My babies are growing up and now I'm looking at them, trying to figure out what I have. I bought 2 Amerucuanas (I looked up the colors and they don't seem to fit in a category) and then I have this one black pretty one that I still can't identify. Help if you can! Thank you!

Well, I bought a mixed silkie with this one. The mixed silkie has her fuzzy/fluffy feathers, this one only has the black (with purple/blue) feathers and the puff of them on top. Still not sure if this one is a male or female...

Here is the pic of the one a bought with the silkie or polish type one

first one is a silkie x, black skin and feathered shanks......probably crossed with a cochin....
the other 2 are easter eggers, what the hatcheries usually sell as ameraucana

how can you tell the difference between Ameraucana and Easter eggers?

This article explains the difference, but if you got it from one of the big hatcheries, it is not an Ameraucana. They come in certain standard colors with proper eye and leg color, etc. and they lay eggs in the blue color family. EEs can lay any color egg because they are a mixed breed.
