OK ... lets have an EGG COUNT

thought of starting a thread of how many eggs we all pick a day .


OK .. I will start it off .... Its 12:00 ( NOON ) and I have picked 13 eggs SO FAR ....

I have 5 so far today.....expect more this afternoon

Zero so far today. But I only have four hens and only one just started laying on Friday. Since then I've had 3 eggs. Just waiting on that 4th egg so we can have a meal.

Cool ... I am gone check for more in a couple of hours ... I had 5 hens sitting on nests .. So 13 is not bad so far ...

I have about 30 that are not laying yet .

I only have 4 chickens with only one laying right now....so I got one egg today. She's pretty consistant and lays one egg almost every day.

My EE is 7 months old now and a real slacker. No egg from her yet.

thats why I sold all my bantams and majority of my EE's ... they to slow in laying and eggs are not very big . They were giving me heart failure .

I would sell her if she wasn't my favorite. She's just too cute. I'll give her a few more months...and hopefully she will lay something!
My daughter named her "Daisy" and I just call her Slacker.

So far we've collected 2 eggs today... we only have 4 laying. I'm sure I will find at least one more later today
