we nearly bought a mule the week between Xmas and New Years at sale. She was 7 , really sweet, very large and had been used to hunt raccoon with. I was so surprised when I asked the guy " is she okay around dogs?" and it only took him and 15 sec. to figure out where I was going with it. She ended up selling for $500 which still is not bad but we really did not have a stall ready for her so we passed it up. Later that week we lost our mustang to old age, completely broke my heart. You know what my DH says last week, we should have gotten the mule cause there is to much snow for me to hunt in now anyway. We have like 6 inches errrrr

Anyway I told him when we get the new barn up and ready to move he can find one that is used to hunt with then.
