ok my peeps! DUCK girl or boy?

Looks like a boy. If it does turn out to be a girl, they usually start to lay at 5-6 months. Depends on breed, as some mature sooner than others.

You sure thats a magpie? Im only saying this because he looks like some swede crosses as well as my Domestic bibbed mallard

ok now Im confused....First of all I bought a bunch of chicken" eggs to hatch. Then when I go to throw out the "old" egg in bator that didnt hatch-it peeped-The next day I see a duck bill popping out-here's "chuckie" I asked the egg owner and they said It looks nothing like the 1 pair of ducks they had??? OK??? SO I researched..posted pictures of him for weeks...couldnt come up with a good answer. Then I found a photo that could have been his twin-identical twin even-and it was a magpie---a crested magpie... so I dont know what to think now as I had never had ducks before either. All new to me...

Do you have a side shot of your duck? And then I have seen a lot of swedish crosses that have the brown feathered bodies and the green masks and white bibbs.
