ok need help before I mess this up! new babies..Straw?? ok? or Pine shavings.. I have soft flakes

Hi Everyone!! the babies are doing great.. but the poop got bad.. so it is time to change to a new bedding.. so.. i put straw down.. is it safe??
Please let me know! thank you!! They are now 10 days old!!

Hi!! We used chopped straw from tractor supply, and the lil babes loved it. Nice and soft on their feeties. And cheap!!
