  1. Updated with pix....[IMG] I will post pix if no one can tell me...but I have one Dom that we think is a roo..supposed to be all pullets...but this one has a bright red rose comb and what might be waddles [IMG] under the chin?? All the others have smaller lighter color single combs....we think?? ( newbies, you know )
Does this mean that this one chick is a roo?? We hope so cause we already are calling this chick a he...LOL!!

OK...Sorry, should have put pix on first time around. So here are the pix to help you all decide...out of 2 DOM's is one of them a roo?? I took 4 pix in all of the 2. They are the same age...4.5 weeks old .

    Thanks for your time!!

Both genders will get wattles but roos typically get them first [IMG]
  3. Quote:Then this one we wondered about must be a roo..cause he is much more developed then any of the others as far as comb and waddles.....Hope the pix tell the tale...[IMG]. We are just curious.

    Just FYI...

Waddle is what a duck does when it walks. Wattles are the cute red dangly things under a chicken's chin! This confuses a lot of people, and it makes me smile. [IMG]
