Ok, one last time, what are these girls? *White Rocks is the verdict*

Ok, so I checked on Feathersite, the white rock hen seems the closest in comparison but the white rock chick they have a picture of is NOT what they looked like. They were not yellow chicks at all. I'd post a picture of them as chicks but I'm having technical difficulties with my photo library...

Agreed. When they are all full grown and fluffed out they will be a little smaller than the Orps.

Wow, that's interesting. Wonder why they look so different if they are the same breed. Does anyone have pictures of White Rocks as chicks? Mine didn't look like the example on feathersite.

Sorry no pics but I found this description at Whelp Hatchery:
"Baby: light yellow and some are all white in color with a touch of gray" - so I guess chicken down varies a bit

THANK YOU!!!! That would be them, all white with a touch of gray like someone had given them a light airbrushing with gray paint! Mystery solved then White Rocks it is!

My pet chicken does not have Wht JG's or Wht RR. They have White Cochin,White Leghorn,White Plymouth Rock,•Columbian Wyandotte ,•Delaware , Wht Turkens.
So it would have to be one of these breeds.

They look like my White Rocks. They are wonderful chickens, and I bet you love them. They lay well and are hardy. My roo can get a bit protective though-that is why he is all bloody from fighting the Del Roo.

Boys will be boys.

They are very good at free ranging and stand confinement ok. I always have to watch out for them, the Dels and the Dark Cornish if they are being cooped. They want out and will fly out the door if I leave it open too much.
