Monarc, what a talent you have for the action shots (and the cat non-action shots). What character your dogs have. Givin' me puppy cravings! And Pippin, don't even start. I want to raise Bobwhites for release, but it's not legal and advised here.

MtnHomeChick, Mrs Buffy is doing fine. In fact, at your request, here is a pic of Mrs. Buffy and her flock.

This is a requested chicken picture! Dont kick me off the thread!

She does not like having her photo taken. And now she has three more B.O. courtesy of NinjaPoodles, so she blends in better.

ETA: I just realized how ghetto my coop looks. But they stay warm and dry and pest and fox free! Isn't that all that matters! It was built in the 1930's! Dont judge me!

he he thank you!!! I am deffinatly an amature photographer, however, I hope to get as good as my uncle and second cousin are someday (they are professionals) and my one aunt used to be a photographer now she's a regional manager or something similar. I have hundreds of pictures, my favorite subject is and always will be animals though.

I'd love to raise bobwhites just so i can hear them sing (i love that bah-bob-white!) call. I can raise them without a permit here, but I just can't sell or release them.

My biggie to want to raise and release is pheasants to up the population we have in our woods outback....but I'd need a permit and dont feel like going through all the mumbo jumbo but i may give in and apply in the spring.

My two doggies (well pups, not yet a year old, Koda is a year old next month, Merelin in February) are a bunch of goofballs...esp Koda. She's full of spunk and then some, but with a genetic combo mix that she has no wonder!

Merelin is more layed back and couch potatoe, but he's always up for a romp if Koda or the cats initiate play.

This is my dog Abigail. I rescued her from the shelter 5 years ago. She is a yellow lab golden retriever mix. She is in the back of my mother's car! She was nervous because my mom was taking the kids and she wanted to make sure she was included in the plans!

Here are my two Maine Coon Cats Emily and Alley. I also rescued them from the shelter about 4 years ago. They are sisters. They are inside cats, never have been outside. They own my home, they just let me live in it!

Here is Alley.
