well, i think its stupid that on one hand, you have the government and these other groups lauding the huge tax increase on "big tobacco" and acting as if they are the new axis of evil or something...but at the same time, they are relying on this money for their various projects...either you are for or against it.
we all know though, that they wont ever outright ban tobacco because its too profitable to demonize it in order to make more money from it.

Your cigs are really expensive there. I pay a little over $40 a carton and my mom rolls her own. She buys a 1 lb bag for $40 and gets over 3 cartons out of it. I tried them, but I smoke menthol and they just don't take right. I need to quit. My friend quit after smoking for 30+ years and he felt horrible for 6 months. Not sure why.............

LMAO!! We pay $79+ a carton here, and sell them for $10 a pack at our store. I quit 3 years ago.

I drive up to the Indian reservation to buy tobacco. It costs $12.20 for a 1 pound bag and about $3 for a box of tubes.
Tobacco $12.20 + 3 boxes of tubes $9.00 = 3 cartons for $21.20 and no taxes on them.
