ok so ......vinegar????

I tried this and it only took an hour and the shell was floating at the top of the bowl......

If you have kids you can also show them this trick....put a chicken bone in the vinegar and let it sit overnight. The bone will be like rubber in the morning as the vinegar pulls the calcium out of the bone.

You can but seems kind of expensive way to pile them to me unless you save it to reuse for something else.

I believe you can add vinegar to the water you boil the eggs in, but I don't remember how much. I just boiled mine, and dropped them in a bowl of ice-water. That made it a bit easier. Plus I had my 4 y/o's tiny fingers helping me peel

I boiled my eggs in the evening and let them cool & sit in the water I boiled the in, and then in the morning I peeled and made my egg salad, it worked great and I think it was because they were still in water, made them very easy to peel...just my thoughts.....
