Ok, so...what did I get from TSC 3 weeks ago???

Chick 1....solid black...no brown in its feathering...was at least a week old when I got it

Chick 2...white

Chick 3...looks buff?

Chick 4...looks buff?

I bet #1 is a BSL. Australorps generally have white on them at that age.

I wanted one hen...I'm leaning towards them all being cockerels though myself... which honestly is ok b/c then I can rehome all of them and get a really pretty hen at the chickenstock later this month...lol

My BSL was all black at that age...I'm thinking it was about 6 weeks when she got the brown edged feathers, so it could be that.
And obviously that would make it pullet if it's a sex-link.

the first one is a BA, most BSLs have the brown/red feathering as soon as they feather in.
