Although we had a couple of not-so-pleasant scenes about going into the coop at night, Gladys seems resigned to the process. In the last 8 or so days, she's only been in the tree overnight once. I'm hoping if we are consistent about cooping her at night, she'll eventually develop the habit.
In the meantime, we've started expanding the coop/run to give her more space and make room for the chicks when they're ready.
