Ok!! Why do Zip Lock Bags leak ?

You might be opening the bags too far or two hard and damaging the seal at the ends of the zip section.

I have frozen many hundreds of bags of ducks and other game birds in water for twenty years. The only leaks I had were when a wingbone would poke through the bag. Try opening the bag only far enough to put your things into it and then fill with water and get out the extra air. I only bought the regular ziploc bags and never the ones with the plastic piece to help you close them.

If you're buying good bags, you must be doing something to create the problem.

Dang it. Big bucks & they sux. I hunt & kill alot of my own food. Put the game in these bags & bam blood everywhere in my refrigerator.

That’s exactly what happens, extremely careful and yet every bag leaks !! I just did a search to see who else .
