Got mine from Bee but I do wish the Postal Service would be a little kinder to my eggs. Three busted this time. The box was packed nice and marked well.

Just so everyone that is getting eggs from me, I haven't forgotten anyone. I have a bunch to mail on monday. And on a good note for you, I have a bunch of my own turkeys and chicks hatching. So far I have 18 turkeys (some of each of my breeds) and 11 Buff orpington chicks along with one lone barred rock. But at least you know my eggs will be fertile. If I can find my batteries for my camara, I will post some pics of the turkey poults and the chicks. They are all so cute!

i got my millie d'uccle eggs and guinea eggs in and exras too!!

they all arived safe and sound and look great!! thanks to both of u!! only eggs i'm waiting on now is a set of polish eggs.

i owe eggs yet to a few people but most i've sent out.

i'll ship them out as fast as i can just don't want anyone to think i forgot them. i'm swamped in orders and due to weather and broodiness the girls have me behind so please bare with me.

I replied to the PM that you sent me eons ago. I never get e-mail notifications for PMs here, for some reason, so I didn't even know I had one waiting for me.

But to add to my reply (and I apologize if this is really out-of-place in this thread), it occurred to me that maybe we could do a trade later in the summer or early fall. I have black Orpington bantams that I'm expecting to start laying soon (one pullet turns five months old on Saturday and the other turns five months in about three weeks; each is paired up with her own cockerel - hatched two pairs, lucky me). Of course I'm going to have to run fertility tests on their eggs before I will make them available. I'm sort of in the same boat as you - I can only really send out 4-6 eggs since I only have the two pullets. I've read that most of the egg-selling veterans don't consider anything beyond 3 days "fresh." Personally, I'd love to try anything up to 5 days, maybe even a week. But that's just me... Figure I might as well fill up my Octagon 10 to the max, even with "old" eggs

Sounds like you enjoy keeping the rarer breeds, and while Orps are not really "rare," I tell you, I had a *heck* of a time finding these in bantams. I got these eggs from a very kind member here who no longer keeps them. She had a blue hen, but I only hatched out blacks. They are truly stunning with the beetle green sheen and all... Got both of our digital cameras stolen in a robbery a few weeks ago so I can't take any photos (and the ones I'd taken before then are gone because the robber stole my laptop that had all of my photos... MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR PRECIOUS PHOTOS, EVERYBODY!!!).

I'm really lost when I start collecting and then people back out if the offer I will not be doing anymore swapping on the Crazy chain. I think the whatyagot is ran much smoother.
