Okay, Now I'm REALLY Confused About Ventilation

If you have read the book, The guy goes into detail on why adding heat is not necessary. Open air coops were used as far north as Maine, on up to Canada. The designs were proven to work. They were the industry stardard of the time. I didn't just read the book, I built one, and it works. No insulation, wide open front, and I never came out to find frozen chicken. Unless you have some kind of featherless chicken, you DO NOT need heat. Especially in Kentucky.
