Okay, so my "pullet" crowed this morning...

One of my BO "pullets" crowed this morning...darn it.

I want to say pullet; but the thing that tugs my answer toward roo is the red spots on the wings. Which, EE roos can often have(spots, barring, etc of red). How does this chicken act around the others? By 4 months of age, I would think it would be showing signs of wooing the girls - or at least dominating them by jumping on them. It could very well be that you have a rooster. But maybe keep him around, who knows? You might really enjoy the possibilities having a roo can bring.
 
Yes, he/she does have a couple of brown patches here and the on his/her back. Do pullets not get these??

No signs of wooing of any type- pretty much just walks around with the other two.

Honestly, if it weren't for the crowing (or croaking!) I wouldn't have given it another thought!

I got that! BUT when he/she/IT crows, it is pitiful, croaky and not much on volume... Haha.. like a kid going through the voice change or something!
