Okay this is UNFAIR!!

So my incubators keep puking at least on the eggs I want to hatch...

I just cracked opened an egg I left in the house at 75 degrees room temperature... and that had been riding in my car at 90 degrees for gosh, a week...

THere's an embryo!

OH COME ON!!
HOW COME THE LIGHT SUSSEX EGGS ARE BEING FRIED???
And these other mutt eggs are forming embryos everywhere!!!???!!

My luck!!

I might as well roll some eggs in front of the heat vents and underneath my pillow... maybe in 21 days a chicken will pop out

Thats seems to be how it goes. I can get 100% hatch out of the eggs i'm not really that interested in hatching but the ones I really want turn out infertile. I've had my incubator spike to 104 and the little buggars still hatch while my more expensive eggs don't.

That's what I've done... all the eggs I want to hatch die if I BREATHE on them wrong... lol

Two Brinsea incubators, one has my Lavs, both on the same outlet....... Which one gets (somehow) unplugged for 3 hours....???? Take a guess - ONE guess!! I'm lucky I check every turn but
ARGGHHHHHHH

I feel your pain...but it doesn't help a whole lot I know....

Yeah...I know! I just got one chick out of $30 eggs, and in the same hatch got 3 chicks out of $2 eggs.

When I was hatching a few months ago I had several mixed aracuna/silkie hens, an Ee hen and a PR hen and a Onagadori hen with 1 Onagadori roo. All the Onagadori eggs at first where fertile until he started breeding the other girls then the O's where infertile. I think she was jelous and wouldn't let him breed. Then I got an EE roo and she started being fertile. She had mixed babies. I separated the O's from the EE's and she was not fertile again. The O's are the ones I wante more of not a bunch of mixed ones. But I doh ave to say he sired some beautiful chicks. The people I gave them to sent me pics and it made me wish I had kept them.
