Okay to feed chickens whole dates with the seeds in?

    Or, do I remove the seeds if feeding them dates are okay?

    I suppose it wouldn't be any worse than all the whole fruits I give mine...they break them up well on their own...but are you feeding them preserved dates? don't they have a lot of sugar?

    I respectfully disagree, I think they might swallow them whole and I think that could spell trouble.
    To me, it wouldn't be worth the risk.
