Okay to treat with Corid if only "possible cocci"

I posted the other day about a friend who's chickens have become lethargic, and their eyes closed. ALot of ppl on there said it was probably COCCI. Is it okay to use Corid as a treatment if there is no definite diagnoses of Cocci? thanks in advance.

Corid is pretty safe. It mimics thiamine (vitamin B1) to help kill coccidia, and since it is not an antibiotic, it is not hard on them. When suspecting cocci, treatment should be started early for best results.
