This is one of the ones that I tried to describe yesterday. There is another one like it, but this one has a lot more black on it.

In this one, the button in question is the one in the center/back. It is kind of cinnamon looking, but has really dark patches on it? Is it a cinnamon red-breast? I know it's a male.

Same as above...

I have more pics, just need to upload them. Takes forever on dial-up!

Here's another one. When I first noticed the eyes on this one, I thought one of the bigger ones had pecked its eyes out!!

I've never seen a button with black eyes like this!!

You mean the one in pics 2 and 3? That's what I thought too, the dark patches do look like a dark blue. The other one has me stumped though, I don't think I've seen any like that. I'm getting some pretty neat colors from my birds, I almost don't want to seperate them!

This one? --->

Again let's go back to the fact I am looking at a phone screen. They look like red breasted cinnamons. Thou then you posted the chick picture and it looks like a cinnamon blue face so in the end I am not sure
Maybe be post it on button quail USA

I guess it kind of does! I hadn't looked at it like that! I literally picked it up and looked at its eyes when I noticed it, to make sure it still had them! I have all the 'babies' together, the DV (B&W) one is the oldest, at about 3 weeks, then the littlest ones are about 2 days. The cinnamon redbreast (above pic) was caught biting the little babies toes last night, and almost got thrown in solitaire!! I think it was because I was there, making them nervous. No one is bleeding or missing body parts, so they seem to be doing all right.

I wish I could figure out the one with the black spots/stripes (1st pic)....it is a really unique color, that I have not seen on my birds.

The chick pick could be a cinnamon blueface, though it seems to have a lot of yellow on its face. I don't remember my others having black on them at all as babies, but they were very red when they were little. I'll see if I can find their (the parents) baby pics

Okay, first off, the two in question's baby pics...they are of the first 4 hatched, so one of these three.....

These are 3 of the 4 pics I posted when they first started hatching. The only one omitted is the DV, cause we all know which on that is!

So which are these two then?? Any ideas?
