Hi, Im interested in raising a few "backyard chickens" and stumbled across this page while searching for local Oklahoma hatcheries. I'm particularly interested in local groups that have educational opportunities or mentoring in the art of raising urban chickens.

I raised rabbits as a child and I remember we had a few chickens and ducks, too but that was a loooooong time ago....
 
@pearson1662 we definitely are a very tight and helpful community when it comes to chickens. We have plenty of members that are itching to help you and answer any questions that may be in your head. So feel free to wonder the forums and ask questions and help out where needed and you will soon be a very helpful member and you will be able to pass your learning unto others.
