Five. Like I needed a reason to get chicks. Seriously, I won't have room for them. But dang it, they are kind of cute when they're only a day old...I got a black, two buffs, a partridge (I think - it's chocolate-colored), and one that I don't know what it will look like.
I blame NNbreeder. If he didn't talk them up so much I wouldn't know so much about them - all of these have bowties and look like cute little Donald Trumps.
i have to say my one and only NN has made a believer of me- blame Gotgame! she is the friendliest little hen i have- and will fly right to you for snuggles- and is soft as velvet- yep- been bitten by the little gal! they are funny looking but personality plus- and she is a banty, and hubby says petite and delicate looking-
Robin do not let her sweetness fool you. She will tear off your arm and beat you with it if'n she takes a notion!!! Or at least that is how most of mine treat me.
Good looking girl you have there. I like the way that they constantly talk to you.

He has been around mares in season while under saddle without any problems nor does he try to fight with other stallions. He is a very special boy.
First time we had a saddle on him I had him on a long line and I told Teva to back up cause he was gonna blow and boy did he. I had about 8 feet of line played out and he was bucking himself into a lather and started getting close to some junk so I told him to whoa and he did. Walked him out to the center of another pen and told him to go ahead and he commenced to bucking hard for another 15 minutes or so and the sweat was just flying every direction. Finally he stopped, turned around and looked back at the saddle and it was still there and he just sighed great big. At that moment he was broke to ride and Teva has been on him a few times since then.
Never once while he was bucking did I ever feel theatened by him and he was close enough at times to reach out and touch but he would work his way back out to the end of the line I had him on but he never jerked or pulled on it.
