Well tractor supply has chicks again today... They are the last chicks they will get in this year. White leghorns buff orpingtons and Cornish rocks in edmond. I work there so I can't get any until I'm off work so please come get these orps before my chicks an I have to find a new home because the hubby said absolutely no more.
 
Wow we almost slipped off the page! I goota go get ready for church,hope someone else is lurking that can keep us back up on top! Come on Okies,we have never been known for holding our tounges!lol
 
I have been wonderin where everyone is today...I still have a very nice table top vintage cedar hatcher that is in fantastic shape I would sell...what all rare breeds is everyone hatching out? I would like to get a few pyncheons, see how they do around here...

man it has been dry latly and we need it

my younger brother is doun in TX fighting that big fire he has been there for 3 weeks now with no days off and has lost 25 pounds every time they contane the fire it jumps he sayes he have seen things he could not amagin and is ready for some time off the fire he is on is the bigest fire in TX history and has bured almost 1 mill achers allready man this country need some rain so lets not get mad becuse of the rain let us thank GOD for it insted we need the rain for alot of thing lets not just take it for graned no rain meens no corn ro weat or milo wich meens no feed for the chickens and no freash fruit and veggys from the gardn and no creek to swim in and no fish to catch so be verry tank full to GODS gift of liquid sunsine

takes a lot of time to get results because these birds change so much in the three years it takes for them to mature. I really shouldn't be using 1st year pullets; however, I don't have but 2 mature hens.
 
gotta do what you gotta do sometimes...we have probably a dozen shamo babies hatched out so far, hopin to get at least 2-3 dozen raised up this year...
