Thats what we thought to Mr. Al . But if they aren't put on right they are worthless. And apparently ours wasn't. Going to talk to the insurance company this week. Have already had them out once.

Well I was waiting on you to mention it first, and yes your right installation is critical, A close friend had one done last summer and the installers screwed it up and he has the same problems as you do. Plus he hired the folks the Ins co recommended and that is always a disaster as I know how they work their deal.

yeah- payday is wednesday....sooooo.... the girls are keeping us fed today- cheese omlettes! we do have a creek running- surprised the girls are laying with all that thunder- glad i moved the banties, decided to redo their run and coop, well, the ducks and geese think its theirs now... why else would we give them a private pond??

Let that rain come and it's coming down good, I am relieved at the fact that when I walk into the coop they will be warm dry and cozy LOL and so will I when I do their chores.

Did the Possum Creek area in Texas get any of this rain...isn't that where the fires have been?
Our Niece lives in Breckenridge and said the smoke had been really bad this past week.

Dumped the rain guage at 4.5 inches and it's still raining. We are so blessed to get the ponds filling up. The cows are loving their baths. MIL lives in Choctaw and said they have 2 inches now.

Rooster Studley Do-Right found out that Rooster Thor had a fancy name (Chantecler) and beat him up this morning. I have him separated into a recovery pen and dressed his bald spots. He is eatting and drinking. Studley got a horn clip. The chickens are nestled in the coop watching the rain thru their storm glass window.

Love the pictures Lynn.

Happy Easter everyone! Nice slow rain here off and on. Hopefully slow enough to let it soak in and give everything a good watering. It will sure help with my water bill!

Had a nice time at the Blanchard auction last night, and met some folks who were very welcoming and fun to be around. Finally made my first auction purchase, and quite proud of it! It's a one-of-a-kind. Don't be jealous....
