so would those peppers be different than cayenne pepper? DE i have to order online- unless someone decides to sell some at poops..hint!!

wonder if the windex and vinegar would work on dogs with fleas???

If people need DE I can bring some to POOPS with me. The feedstore I buy it from in Norman sells, 5lb, 10lb, 20lb (I think) and 50lbs bags. I usually by 10lb bags, for I believe $15 but I will need to get back to you on the price. The reason I only get a 10lb bag at a time is because of storage issues. If there are enough people interested I can buy a 50lb bag and we can split it up. Windex and vinegar will probably work temporarily but will have to applied daily to be effective. For flea and tick control adding brewer's yeast and a little garlic powder (only a little and it has to be the powdered form because heavy doses and fresh garlic can be toxic to dogs), is very helpful.

You can give garlic powder to chickens, as well but I have heard that it can be tasted in the eggs.

How much is a 50lb bag of DE? What store is it in norman, and do they keep it on hand, or do you have to ask them to order it?

Yes, I have noticed they are way early, I thought it might be b/c of the unseasonable hot weather we had early on?

My roses and hostas are very early this year too.

Very, very, very bad chicken days for me yesterday and today -
Yesterday I lost 1/2 of my big 24 chick hatch in the brooder, water leaked. I've GOT to get a real brooder.
Worse - this morning my best roo, my #1 mille fleur cochin, was dead in the coop!!!!! He was fine yeasterday. He was so beautiful. I miss him. It is quieter out in the pens now because he was the head crower and I recognized his crow.

Lynn through the years Teva and I have seen the family at our local mexican restraunt so I thought that she was from our area. But no I do not remember her name either.

Shoot Teva and I have both talked to you for years at the auction S. of Stillwater and didn't find out your name till we met at POOPS!!!!

And that was long before it became the Guy Rose auction.

Mine also...love the roses and worry about the hostas with the weird changes in weather...and drought to floods.
