Robin it takes a long time for Bumblefoot to heal. There are not that many blood vessels that run through the legs and that makes them durn slow to heal.
Expect to see a little improvement in about a month.
thanks Les! She is in the main coop, when the weather settles down i have an outside pen she can be in- poor little thing- she misses roaming, should i put her best buddy in with her?

Hi everyone. It was a great Tuesday today. After work, hubby and I went to fellow BYC'er MJ to show him the new coop she made. Then came home and and kind of mapped out our next coop.
Tulsa Feathers...
and good luck. I started with 5 chickens a little over a month ago, after week one we expanded our first coop, now getting ready to build a second coop. Started with 5 chickens (that was all I planned to have), now have 12 adult chickens and 24 chicks!
Also did a little emergency surgery on a goose at my work that had gotten wrapped up in fishing wire today with one of my residents. That went great and she was back to limping on the foot by end of day (String had cut to the bone on her leg and it was pulled up under her wing, very ugly looking) But all looks like she is on the fast track to recovery.
MJ, so sorry about your rooster and the chicks. I have strong faith with the help of prayers that your going to find an even better looking offspring in your current chicks!
