It feels like this week lasted for a month. Too bad I wan't able to get a month's worth of work done.
Looks like I'm taking some chicks, teens, and adults to the informal sale at Collinsville on Saturday morning. I hope we don't get rained on.
DD called to explain why she needs my truck. She took the old picket fence down at her new rent house. It's not rotted, but it's too short to be practical, so she's giving me all the posts and fence boards. I think I'll be able to make some neat nest boxes. She also needs to mow the grass at both rent houses (We've raised an industrious child!!!) and can't fit the mower in her car. Looks like I'll get to play Granny for a few hours while DD is out mowing.
I have never failed to get a job I got to interview for but nowadays its not the same...just about to the point of trying to start my own company...of some kind...

You are right Ideal has silver laced wyandottes....they are white with black edging on their feathers ...I have a 2011 McMurray catalog..page 22 ...Silver Laced Wyandottes. Most in the tub were chipmunk but there were a few that were more cream on the wings and the chick description is close to what I saw. May have to go back and get a few.....just to watch them grow.....
Thank God it's Friday, but man it's going to be a long and busy day...
I've got a lot of errands to take care of and then my son is in the Phantom of the Opera musical at his high school tonight so we're going to go watch him..
Plus I'm getting 2 dozen guinea eggs to set in an incubator they will get here sometime Sunday evening...
I've never tried to hatch guinea eggs before and haven't hatched chicks or quail or anything since I was a kid...
