Hey guys, Have to tell you about my morning at lumber 2.

Stopped at Lumber 2 to get chick feed and of course I wandered thru the chicks (Patting self on back did not get any) and I met a lady who does not currently have any chickens but she is wanting to get some. She said she has been to the BYC and I told her how to find us (Hope she see's this).

But she was wanting silkies and some type of Duck, I think Call Ducks. I told her to find this section on the BYC because I knew we had several breeders here that offer silkies and ducks. I also told her about POOPS. Anywhooo...I should have got her name, but if your out there, jump on in and these friendly Okies will enable you to be a chicken owner!

I feed evergreen laying pellets. Been getting about 6 dozen eggs a week out of my moderns.

Donatations for the P.O.O.P.S. Raffle.

Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock

Hey we are closing in on the big event. Time to think about some items you may want to donate for the raffle. It doesn't have to be a big item, used things that you may may laying around are fine.
This is one of the ways we raise funds to help with costs of the event.
For those of you that are new we have a raffle where you buy tickets (can't remember the price but cheap). Each item has it's own little bag that you drop your ticket into (so you will only win something that you were interested in) & at a designated time we will draw the winning ticket. Since we are doing the raffle this way, things for kids and adults will be in the same raffle.
I want to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to the raffle so far. I have received word of several items for the raffle, but we still need lots and lots more stuff. Again, if you have something you want to part with , keep us in mind and use it for a donation item.
