I tend to read more than I comment, I am often here but more often playing with a three year old daughter, working with birds or in the garden. We did try to have a show this past weekend in Idabel but the fair board at the last minute did not want the birds housed in the barn overnight and we didn't have the time to work out the issue so the show was cancelled at the last minute. Hated to do that to some good people but there was no other way, all entry fees were sent back to the exhibitors as well as personal phone calls to each.
We will try to work out the problem and try for a fall show.
The large mottled project is really going well with about 30 chicks out so far and about 90% are showing the mottling gene expressed. Hope to have a good string of these to take to Indianapolis in October.

Macy sold a few of her bird's ther an was verry blessd on some of thim..

Lot's of Hotel's in Anadarko an 2 in Cyril not fare from ther North an people coming to poop's can drop of ther bird's at the fair barn an lev thim over night no one can get in.
To bother thim plenty of room to put out your pen's an stuff an if you are coming from far of an just hav your bird's in show box's ther will be lots of show pen's ther to drop thim out in we have some big pen;s for Turkey's an Gease also,,

I have been working on a chocolate cochin project myself. I think I am heading in the right direction heres some pics of of a few of my chicks thus far in my project. this project has been going for about 9 months now and I am just now showing results Hope you enjoy.

Of course these wont be the wonderful Imported chocolate cochins But I have only used cochins in my project No other breeds have been involved so they at least wont be a mixed up cochin. I need to get the buff color from my hen out anyhow. enjoy I will keep this project updated

Only if you knew half the little secrets I got going on here LMAO. this is gonna be a wonderful year and next year Will be a wonderful show year.
