It is a very serious somber event. Most folks wear ties and such. We say things like bravo...good show old chap...

okay...we don't...there is a bunch of teasing and fun and don't be surprised to see some large men hug...there will be lots of noise provided by animals and running children...most of whom everyone on the premises have permission to beat if they even suspect they are getting out of line...

there are good stories told and not good but very funny stories told...

I am not real sure what shinanagans are but am fairly sure that some happened

thre is some prime time eating that goes on!

crested call ducks! really?!?!?! I want some!

What's this I hear about you not making POOPS!?!?! My boys are gonna be upset! Plus I have a couple items for you...they have little yellow feathers at the moment...trying not to talk to much about them for fear that something bad will happen...

I would be your connection to that great guy! Whatever it is just give me a heads up so I am prepared to transport & keep until he makes it back to God's country!!!!

Wayne do you already have me on the list for the flower packet or do I need to send you a PM?

Yeah Sooner,I have you and Monty and Tony O already.
I saw the pic of the ducks Teach, they have more of a tuff than a crest, but I was surprised because I didn't know they had them in calls. Theyu were colored like the snowy calls.
Sooner have you got started setting eggs yet? I put some under a broody today.Proably a good thing I don't have a cabinet type incubator,I would have 10000 bantys running around here!

Hey Robin are you going to get Poser a feller this year? I bet she would love you for it!

My Buckeyes and Australorps have been taking a bit of a break the last week or so, but it looks like they may be starting up again. Time to get it in gear for spring! The quail have already gotten the message and have been hard at work cranking out eggs. There's narcissus coming up all over the yard and I've been scouring the stores for seeds on my want-list. Now I just need my raised beds to build themselves.

Wayne I haven't started hatching & may not for a while, still alot of work to do around here & I have more than I can handle without baby chicks plus my barred just started laying, the RIR haven't started up yet & I don't have the NN's yet. LOL.

Lots of cosmetic stuff that is driving me batty like the yard being a mess, still dealing with finding places for stuff in the house & hauling stuff to the trash & goodwill. Fun times. I will be laying sod in the next week or so.

Michael - thank you for posting this information. I was wondering about the facilities and if there would be anywhere one could safely leave birds if need be.

Who was it that was building and selling cages at POOPS last year? I am in the market for some nice cages this year if they are available.

Okay - "back to work" time for me. Will be out all week but will try to sneak a post in now and then...hope everyone's week goes well!

City, That was us that were building those cages... What kind of cages are you needing... I also have some cages that are 6 and 7 hole cages that I would be glad to part with.

I just need a couple of nice "show type" cages that will hold a couple of birds each.
