It is morning iasn't it!

Gotta head out to the doctor this morning,this chest cold id kicking my butt.
My new parakeet layed an egg! Guess I'd better fix her up a nest box.
Cloudy and cool here but supposed to be the warmest day of the week.Where did spring go. Have a good one everyone.

Dark, cloudy and a bit damp but I think it is going to be a great day and even if it is not I am going to pretend it is and do my thing.

Ok Donnie, you and I need to talk. I am seriously looking for some white and splash ameraucanas. I have a wonderful white hen who lays the prettiest blue egg I have ever seen and I would love to give her a man and another lady friend to hang with. I know you probably do not have many to offer but if you have any extra let me know I would be more then happy to buy them from you.

Now that I have made my plee for birds. I better get going the kids will be here soon and I really want to get the day going.

Hello All!

I'm brand new to BYC and "new again" to backyard chickens. I had chickens and ducks when I was a kid, but that was a while ago. Finally convinced my husband it would be a good idea

We have 4 red star hens that we got on Sunday evening. Yesterday we had our first two eggs! My husband (who had never touched a chicken that wasn't frozen) was so excited!

Anyway, just thought I'd drop in here with a "Howdy!"
