[Poco Pollo]

18 meat crosses hatched so far. Most look like pale Speckled Sussex - Dark Cornish X Speckled Sussex Hen. These ought to grow into large pullets and cockerels. Three hatched completely black. I'm thinking these are Dark Cornish X Salmon Faverolles Hen. They don't have the extra toe, but they do have little beards. I'm anxious to see how they change as they get their feathers.

Good morning! I've completed my chicken chores for the morning - checked the hens, added more feed for the six chicks in the grow out pen, and sat and watched the new babies from Poco - all is well! Am a little late getting ready for church, but wanted to drop in and say hello.

I did my chicken chores and then sat outside and enjoyed the quite. Then my son got up. He twisted (or so we thought) his ankle last night but this morning it was swollen and he can't walk on it. So I am missing church sitting in st johns er. I missed we'd cause I was pretty sick this chemo week. Now I feel great but still have to miss
