Good morning all. Who turned the heat off? My standerd silver cochins are hatching this morning. Next week will have lots of turkeys.

I had a great time at the auction last night and got the priviledge of introducing my best friend and her husband to a few of you. They just bought some property in Blanchard and are on the chicken hunt lol.

I finally got to meet the Great Stimpy...I enjoyed that very much!!
Had some time to talk with Al...Always a pleasure to see you.

Thank you to Carl and Stephanie for talking with me as well. I am still in shock at the size of some of your birds...those black cochins are the biggest birds I've ever seen! I immediately came home telling the BF all about them. I learn new things everytime I get around you guys.

Oh and thank you Carl for the tip on washing and worming, etc. my birds. I appreciate the help!!

I got to hang out with MMPoultry for awhile....he cracks me up.
Saw some other BYCers there but they were very intently watching the auction.
There were a ton of people at the auction lastnight...that was the busiest I have seen it but then again I haven't been going that long!

Morning folks : Got home late from the auction but not as late as some. I should have stayed home and been a couch potato I was way too tired and I think Monty said I dozed off at the table LOL. Good time though bought plenty of neat tool type stuff, and got to see all my chicken buddy's. Let's see who all was there and I hope I don't forget too many.

Sounds like a great time was had by all at the Blanchard auction. I went to bed about 9:00 and slept until 7 this morning. Sleep is a wonderful cure for whatever ails you.
