Yeah Roy that's what I got also, it is obvious that somebody who raises OEGB's made up the quiz and that everybody who takes it is an OEGB LOL. Couldn't be farther from the truth in my book. Plus the questions were really kinda dumb LOL.

Just a few of my Cornish AL Find your flaws but I dont have junk stock. the convo always tilts towards un SQ birds. You Quoted""Now non SQ Cornish chicks who's parents are Jubilee or all blurry in their markings may have different looking chicks, then again there are quite a few chicks with similar markings in the chicks stage. I know what we got going so I am very confident in their color outcome.""

I assure you my WLR are not of jubilee nor do I own blurred birds. I noticed the dark next to your WLR thats why I asked the question . I guess its just different for standard vs bantams how the chicks play out.

This is the pair that the eggs are from and who know what is in the mix. I didn't raise these birds and don't know what is in the background but some breeders do use the darks to improve the lacing in the WLR. What I am after is white. I am not concerned about color that much however if I get a nice WLR that is fine.

Morning everyone! Hope everyone is safe and warm.

I am dreading going out to check on the girls. I went out yesterday several times because the tarp kept getting blown off the coop. There is only about 1 inch or less in the run (we covered it with a tarp) There was a dusting inside the coop from when the tarp got blown off and the snow was blown in. The water was not frozen, which surprised me. The girls were fine.

I just pray they are good today. I need to wait until the sun is up to go check on them. I may have to send dh. I am on a type of chemo that makes me very cold sensitive (it feels like my hand is burning if I pick something up from the freezer.) If I bundle well, though I can do it.

I worry cause there are just two of them, I hope they are staying warm. They are eating like pigs, I guess to stay warm!

So our eggs are due to hatch tomorrow! When will I notice the pipping? I keep looking through the window in the incubator, but I am so excited and nervous, this is my first time. I am an appreticing midwife and am used to births and I am much more patient with the babies, but this is killing me lol!

Good morning. YOu be careful if you decide to go outside! You should see your eggs rock & hear peeping really late tonight or tomorrow. Alot depends on the temps & other things. Here's sending you good hatching luck
