Tested? That Rodgers is one tough dude. I saw him take a helmet launch to the chin from a 340 pound defensive lineman. Hit so hard even Troy (who was as tough as they come) commented he was surprised he got up. And that he did. Spit out a mouthful of blood, smiled, and went right back to work. That's my kind of quarterback!

I think he is going to pick the Steelers apart.

I finally got a path shoveled to my mailbox and a neighbor helped move a mountain of snow so I could get the pickup out. Hope we don't get too much more tomorrow.


I saw that on the news about the eggs being out. Wasn't even on my list of guesses. I was expecting them to say bread or milk.

i don't think I ever saw that much back there! Just glad it wasn't ice again. its cold here but the sun is out so hopefully it will warm a little.are yoou off today or snowed in!

morning okies!! more snow on the way.... ducks got moved into the banty run and pen, so we don't need to go off the porch to get to them- the banties are in the old coop, supposed to get some rain today so it may clear the road some and we can get in to get feed- from now on i'm buying a months worth of feed at a time....! lesson learned!

Morning, Okies!

I've had some temperature fluctuations in my cabinet incubator. I've got it in the basement because the space is available and we don't have any windows or doors close to the electrical outlet. Lows have registered at 98F and highs at 100F I got curious and hooked up the egg-temp thermometer and watched and listened. The temperature in the incubator goes down when the house heater kicks on. As soon as I can't hear the house heater fan, the temp. in the incubator rises. I'm plugged into a surge protector. Any ideas on how to deal with these little power surges caused by the house heater?
